RCRA methods were developed and promulgated to address multi-analyte multi-matrix analysis. The methods offer a consistent set of QC which can be applied to all the methods. This ensures a consistent sample to sample, event to event set of results which can be relied upon for all analysis activities.
The founder of DAT Laboratory, Dr. Ronald Mitchum, was responsible for the development of many of the methods in RCRA, while with EPA.
